Join us at Shoreham West for lunch* and a discussion with local historian (and Village member) Judy Waxman about women's efforts to control their own fertility from 3000 B.C.E. through the present day.
Judy Waxman was previously the vice president of health and reproductive rights at the National Women's Law Center. Prior to joining the Center, she served as deputy executive director at Families USA for over a decade. Judy has also been a managing attorney of the East Coast Office of the National Health Law Program, an adjunct professor at the Georgetown University Law Center, and an attorney for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
